It’s a heartwarming honour to be invited as a Guest Speaker & Sound Bath Host at this year’s Hospice Education Days 2023 - Promoting Wellness through Collaboration Event 💞

Hosted by the British Columbia Hospice Palliative Care Association (BCHPCA).

This opportunity came about from Volunteering at @theburnabyhospicesociety where my reiki and sound healing practice began.

It’s symbolic to see how those early beginnings helped me develop these skills in preparation for the current chapter my family is currently in; supporting a loved one with late stage cancer in hospice care at home.

These methods have helped me to provide comfort and connection to self and other in some of the hardest, heaviest and disorienting times of life.

And it’s a privilege to share on behalf of the palliative community how supportive reiki, sound healing and integrating the nervous system can be to those grieving, caregiving and/or living with a terminal diagnosis.

This special and heart centred experience is very near to my heart as each modality that I incorporate (reiki + energy healing, sound healing, meditation and tarot) have helped me to discover new aspects of myself and the Universe that were previously outside of my awareness 💗

They were the tools that I turned to for my own healing during a time when I felt very alone and disconnected and financially unable to access the support that I needed, so these events are also a way for me to pay it forward and extend these same support systems to others in need and looking for ways to create meaningful and empowering change in their lives 💗

A safe space for those to come together, connect in community, and rediscover the magic and light that resides within and around each one of us 💫

Friday’s Full Moon Reiki Sound Bath @saltwondersalttherapy is ✨SOLD OUT✨

Thank you to the 11 beautiful souls who purchased tickets to the event.

I have hosted up to 60 people for Sound Bath Events, however with smaller numbers, I get to make more of a personal connection with each of you & you also receive more individual reiki time ✨🤲🏻✨

There is something quite special and unique about gathering and co-regulating in this type of community & both experiences are magical in their own way 🫶🏽

This spiritual practice started out for my own healing. Meditating, pulling tarot cards, journaling, self reiki and sound healing in my bedroom.

I then ventured out to practicing at the beach and in nature, and volunteering in hospice, and now I get to share this practice with all of you, connecting and reflecting with the full & new moons 💗

Linking this soul work with the cycle of the moon has helped me to move past many limiting beliefs and repeating patterns in my life, attract opportunities my past self never would have believed possible, and provide an outlet for me to play, create, connect and share with others + the universe.

Syncing self-reflection and self-care with the moon can help keep you accountable + checking in with yourself on a bi-weekly basis is totally attainable to weave into your monthly routine 💫

🍂 Starting October with a ✨new series of✨BodyTalk & Sound Healing events, co-hosted with the wise and lovely @yh_elevatedhealing 💞

The season of Fall provides an opportunity to take a big exhale of release, as we begin to shift from the outward and initiating energy of summer, into the more introspective & reflective energies of fall and winter.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), each of the five seasons (spring, summer, late summer, autumn & winter) correlates with one of the five elements found in nature (wood, fire, earth, water, metal).

Together, Jasmine and I will provide knowledge on how to connect our bodies with nature's flow on a deeper and more conscious level.   The first event of the series, ✨Nourishment for Fall✨ is an educational & energetic workshop designed to help fortify your energy and harmonize your mind, body, spirit & health during the season of fall🍂

Topics covered:

✨How we can connect with, learn from, and integrate the energetic themes of fall.

✨How we can support the lungs and large Intestine, and find balance within our system with the Metal element.

✨ @yh_elevatedhealing will then facilitate a Group BodyTalk Session, guided by the intentions and energy of the group participants -

The Group BodyTalk session is intended to help facilitate the movement of one's Chi / life force energy.

✨ @sacredpassagehealing will then lead the group through a Crystal Bowl Sound Bath, with a Guided Meditation & light breath work, to encourage awareness of the mind - body connection, and support the lungs and large intestines.

✨This will be a cozy + deeply soul nourishing event & we hope to see you there! 🫶🏽
